Clear communication
Owners and agents know what is recommended, what is scheduled, and when the work is complete.
About Keep
Keep Exterior Care was founded by Bend native Castle Ford to make preparing a home for market calmer, clearer, and easier to manage.
Born in Bend. Back home after twelve years away.
The beginning
When Castle's sister recently sold her house, she found herself carrying everything at once: packing years of memories, managing logistics, preparing the property, and deciding what needed attention before it reached the market.
Castle stepped in to manage the packing, cleaning, and exterior refinement. With that burden removed, she could focus on where she was going instead of everything required to leave.
That experience clarified the purpose behind Keep. Selling a home already asks enough of its owner. Getting the property show-ready should not add unnecessary stress.
Thoughtful preparation
Not every visible issue deserves the same investment. Sellers can spend money on improvements buyers barely notice while overlooking the details that shape a listing's first impression.
Keep looks at the complete show-ready outcome, then builds a prioritized plan around the property and its schedule.
A multidisciplinary approach
Castle studied computer science and entrepreneurship before building a career across hospitality, fitness, sales, and software engineering.
Each field contributed something important to Keep: the service standards and attention to detail of a professional kitchen, the discipline of physical training, the communication required in sales, and the systematic problem-solving of software engineering.
Together, those experiences shaped an approach that is efficient, aesthetically considered, and grounded in practical judgment.
Founder-led service
We approach every project as part of the selling team. The homeowner's priorities, the agent's timeline, and the property's presentation all matter.
Owners and agents know what is recommended, what is scheduled, and when the work is complete.
Recommendations focus on visible impact, with honest guidance about what should and should not be done.
The home and its surroundings are protected throughout the work, from assessment through final review.
Keep operates as a registered LLC, uses professional-grade equipment, and carries up to $2 million in general liability coverage.
If a visible condition may point to a larger concern, Keep brings it to the owner's attention. Exterior preparation is not a substitute for evaluation by a qualified inspector or specialist.
The result that matters
The work is successful when clients feel that a meaningful burden has been removed. They should feel informed, confident that the property was treated carefully, and relieved that one more part of the move is under control.
As Keep grows, the vision extends beyond the exterior to more of the practical challenges that make moving difficult. The goal is not only a cleaner home. It is a calmer transition from one chapter to the next.
Away from the property
Castle writes music, trains, and enjoys a long-form podcast. An album may be on the way.
