Frequently asked questions

Clear answers before the work begins.

The practical details behind assessments, scheduling, property care, and a well-managed exterior project.

Start with the outcome

You do not need to diagnose the property first.

Tell Keep what you are preparing for, what concerns you, and when the home needs to be ready. The assessment turns those details into a clear recommendation.

If your question is specific to a surface, access condition, or listing timeline, it is best answered after seeing the property.

What clients usually want to know.

01

Getting started

What to expect before a scope or date is confirmed.

What happens during an assessment?

Keep reviews the property, visible exterior conditions, access, sensitive areas, your priorities, and the date the work needs to be complete. For sellers, the assessment also considers curb appeal and what is likely to carry the most weight in listing photographs. You receive a recommended scope before work is scheduled.

Do I need to know which services to request?

No. You can begin with the outcome you want and the concerns you have noticed. Keep will identify the services that appear worthwhile, explain what cleaning can and cannot improve, and point out work that belongs with another qualified trade.

Can I request one service without choosing Listing Ready?

Yes. Window cleaning, exterior washing, gutter cleaning, hardscape cleaning, and recurring exterior care can be requested individually. Listing Ready is best when a seller wants the whole exterior considered as one coordinated preparation project.

02

Scope and property care

How judgment, safety, and realistic expectations shape the work.

How is the final scope approved?

The recommended work, expected result, known limitations, timing, access needs, and price are confirmed before service begins. If conditions on site call for a meaningful change, Keep communicates it and receives approval before expanding the agreed work.

What if cleaning reveals damage or a chronic issue?

Keep will communicate visible concerns and may pause work when continuing could risk the property or hide a larger problem. Exterior care is not a home inspection or repair service, and it cannot guarantee that every underlying condition will be discovered.

Is Keep insured?

Yes. Keep Exterior Care is a registered LLC and carries $2 million in general liability coverage. Professional-grade equipment and material-appropriate methods are used with care for the home, landscaping, fixtures, and surrounding finishes.

03

Scheduling and access

The practical details that help a project run smoothly.

How far ahead should I schedule?

As early as you reasonably can, especially when photography or an open house is already booked. More lead time creates room for an assessment, approvals, weather, and coordinated service. If your date is close, share it at intake and Keep will be direct about what is feasible.

Does the homeowner need to be present?

Not always. The appropriate property contact, access instructions, approvals, pets, gates, water access, and other site details must be confirmed before work begins. Some properties or services may require someone to be available at the start of the visit.

What happens if weather affects the schedule?

Wind, freezing conditions, smoke, precipitation, heat, and unsafe surfaces can affect exterior work. Keep monitors conditions, communicates changes as early as practical, and reschedules when the work cannot be completed safely or responsibly.

04

For agents and homeowners

One communication plan, whether you are selling or simply caring for the home.

Can a real estate agent coordinate the project?

Yes. An agent can make the introduction and coordinate with Keep. Before work is scheduled, the property contact, approving party, access plan, billing contact, and communication preferences are made clear.

Do you only work with homes that are being sold?

No. The same exterior services are available to homeowners who want a cleaner arrival, seasonal upkeep, or a property that consistently feels well cared for. Listing Ready remains the signature solution for homes preparing to enter the market.

Which communities do you serve?

Keep is based in Bend and gladly serves properties throughout Bend, Redmond, Sisters, and Sunriver. If your Central Oregon community is not listed, you are still encouraged to reach out with the property address and desired date.
